STAC's Mission

Our goal is to introduce our students to programming and give them the skills, experience, and passion they need in order to pursue their path in programming. Why us? Often in large classes, students are timid or just not willing enough to ask questions in class or participate. At STAC Programming, we encourage student-teacher relations and all of our teachers are young qualified high school students, resulting in increased learning as students are more comfortable to ask questions and participate in class. And as a proud chapter of STAC Programming, we abide by this mission.

Our Courses

HTML and CSS

Learn how to make your first website!

HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted into a file intended for display on the Internet. The markup tells web browsers how to display a web page's words and images.

In our course we will teach you the basics needed to create your very own website, just like the one you are one right now. We will cover everything from setting up an html file to publishing your website to the web. Additionally, the course will also cover styling. Styling is what alter the appearance of the website. There are two types of styling internal and external, which is also known as CSS. By the end of the course you will have gained the knowledge needed to buid you own website. Click on student's website to see some of our pasts students websites they made after taking our course.

Python

Take your first steps into the programming world

Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Its high-level built in data structures, combined with dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make it very attractive for Rapid Application Development, as well as for use as a scripting or glue language to connect existing components together.

We have plans on establishing a python course, however at the moment the course is still being developed. Course description will be updated once the course is finalized. If you are interested in taking the python course do not be afraid to reach out and send us an email.
